Paul is a social-environmental scientist with relevant skills in the realm of sustainability science. He has extensive international experience working in the environmental industry on a wide variety of projects in many cultural contexts across South/Central America, South-East Asia, Australia and Europe. He has worked predominantly in the area of environmental management with particular emphasis on the topics of resilience, climate change adaptation, food security, biodiversity conservation and community development. Paul has broad technical knowledge of biophysical and social sciences, which is strengthened by his knowledge of several working UN languages. His formal education in sustainable development has been interdisciplinary in nature. He holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, Master of Environment and Development studies and a Graduate Certificate in Climate Change Adaptation. A passionate and dedicated environmental professional, he is committed to designing context-specific solutions to contentious environment and development issues.
